SUMMARY:Theme Weekend
DESCRIPTION:A taste of shelter in residential community. \nThese weekends are sheltered spaces from our relentless secular culture to ask honest questions and engage in the rhythms of communal Christian life. \nMultiple-day community based\, with quiet reflection\, short talks\, group discussions and meals in a beautiful location. \nThe theme of this weekend is: Art in the Ordinary. \nDeb Mostert\, ‘a mid-career artist’ with 30 years experience in drawing\, painting\, sculpture and public art will join us and share on the language of observational drawing. \nAnd Jen Pacholke\, Australian L’Abri\, will interact with Edith Schaeffer’s ‘Hidden Art’ reflecting on “beauty and order in the simple details of life.”
